“Sky High Photography” - Nicolai Froehlich
Created in July 2010, these photographs are loosely connected
in that they speak about my fascination with how the sky is a backdrop
for natural and human produced occurrences.
Attention to the details, lines, patterns, marking the passing of time,
created with and by the sky, help make abstract graphic objects and moments.
Capturing a fleeting moment, whether it is a vapor trail, rainbow, or roof of
an farm hut, are all in a state of change and I love to frame it so is appears
definite yet ephemeral. All these photos were cropped in-camera.
Images with "plainpicture" written under it may be used by contacting plainpicture.
All other photos are available through Nicolai Froehlich.

| Image 09 book - American Society of Media Photographers, New York chapter.
I presented the winners of the photography contest in the book. I used
the Asuka Book maker software to create the book. This is the first book
I designed for a group exhibition. The photographs are presented on the
right page with the information on the bottom left corner of the left page.
This allows the viewer to easily see the photograph on flipping the book
pages from left to right and to see the information without it being too
prominent or to compete for attention with the photographs.
