From January 2009 until June 2010, I designed and edited the e-mail newsletters for this organization. I was a board member of the society and was asked to redesign the newsletter based on my design portfolio.

The new name and font design for the newsletter "focused" was created by Bernard Urban at Gigantic and I added the information below it. This incorporates the name of the organization and its location along with the them of the newsletter.

Instead of sending out the newsletters randomly (as the previous person had who edited and delivered the newsletters), I sent out the newsletter at the beginning of each month and reminder e-mails were sent out the day before each event. Each newsletter is given a title in the subject line so that it is clear if it is a monthly newsletter, reminder email, or sponsor newsletter from the organization. This reduced the number of newsletters sent out and the cost of delivering them.

Inspired by my work for the New York chapter of ASMP, the Connecticut chapter asked me to redesign their newsletter.

Created in July 2010, the new name for the newsletter, "connect," incorporates the initials of the state along with the concept that the organizations wants its members to feel more connected. Also, using the same font, spacing, and color for the letters creates graphic and branding continuity with the national organization.

Created in June 2010, Eva Mueller is promoting two kinds of her photography: commerical photography (portraits, fashion, etc.) and hazy, blurry photography (city and landscapes). Using different text fonts and colors for the two types of works creates the distinction between each newsletter.

Created in June 2010, photographer Stefan Falke, who is well know in Europe, is introducing the American market to his presense to his portfolio. He is emphasizing that he is now living in New York since most of his current client think of him as being based in Europe.
